Adams National Eagle Scout Service Project of the Year Award -- to recognize a Scout for his Eagle Scout service project.; follow the Awards link to the Adams Award Nomination Form [org/PDF/542-026.pdf]) but in summary: Any Scout may submit his completed project to his council; each council will select one project to go forward to the region; each region will select one project from their council winners and submit it to national.Some possible benefits to consider are: improves safety, enhances appearance, helps needy people, provides essential services, provides entertainment to a needy group, or improves functionality of a facility.Discuss your coordination meetings with the agency to include dates you have met or talked on the phone, who was present, and exactly what they agreed to provide to you and what you agreed to do for them.

While not required as part of your Eagle project plan or final report, you will soon need the Eagle Scout Rank Application, so you may want to download a copy of it while you are at the BSA forms website.
Get a current copy of the Life to Eagle Packet, which includes the BSA Eagle Scout Leadership Service Project Workbook (BSA 512-927), from the council office or from one of the troop leaders to use in preparing your plan.
As you decide how much detail to include, try making a goal that in your absence, a friend or another Scout could successfully work the entire project, doing only what was written in your submitted project plan.
